Canadian Pacific's main line along the Mississippi River through Minnesota from Saint Paul to Chicago runs through some of the Midwest's finest scenery. In addition to a variety of CP trains, the River Sub hosts Amtrak's Empire Builder and BNSF coal trains, and the Iowa, Chicago and Eastern has trackage rights.
